Norcod farmed Cod has been optimised through natural selection from each generation – meaning that the advantages of the cod have been farmed 100% naturally.
With the wild fish population under pressure and fishing quotas for cod being reduced, Norcod’s vision is to fill the gap in the market and provide sustainable fresh cod.

Farmed in their natural cold-water habitat along the coast of Norway, Norcod’s fish come from the best fry and are bred for optimal health and yield. The fundamental benefit of cod farming is that it provides stable production, alongside consistent delivery options.

Delivery & Freshness
Norcod has a logistical setup that enables the delivery of their cod to be with customers in northern, eastern and western Europe within 2 days of the fish leaving the water. This ensures that the cod is much fresher upon arrival compared to what is currently possible.
